Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Coming to Fort Collins in Spring 2026
Whether for a fun date-night in Colorado, or for a group of friends, speakeasys are some of the best. One, coming to Fort Collins for a second time, sounds like it will bring chills along with drinks.
Edgar Allan Poe wrote some of the most eerie and harrowing stories of all time; to take those stories and turn them into speakeasy was a great idea. Though I'm uncertain when this pop-up first hit Colorado, they're making a big deal about "Chapter 2" of the speakeasy.
Where Does the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Take Place in Fort Collins?
The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy will be inside a wedding/events venue in Fort Collins, The Covey, about 20 miles northeast of Downtown. The Covey strives to make their space about making memories; attending a special speakeasy within the venue fits right into that endeavor.

I'm not familiar with everything Poe wrote, but just about everyone knows the story "The Pit and the Pendulum;" to see it performed in a speakeasy sounds amazing. Add in three other Poe stories and it's a real win, for the price.
When is the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Happening in Fort Collins?
The speakeasy will happen Thursday, March 26 through Sunday March 29, 2026. There will be eight performances, including a 10:00 p.m. one, that should see you getting out at around midnight, adding to the eeriness. There will also be early afternoon shows for those not wanting to be out "after dark."
