Colorado’s Annual 2-Day Free Dental Clinic Has Provided Over $19 Million In Services to More Than 20,000 People

As the cost of so many things in Colorado continues to rise, many people have to make tough decisions, including getting dental work done. An organization that came to Loveland in 2025 has helps tens of thousands with the help of many.

Who is the Organization That Provides Free Dental Care Across Colorado?

The Colorado Mission of Mercy organization has been around since 2007, getting folks who can't afford dental work the help they need. I would have thought the organization did other things and this is just one of them; in fact, this is their sole endeavor, and I think it's terrific.

It all happens on a "first come, first served" basis, with no questions asked. They set up 125 dental chairs in a big space, where volunteer dentists/hygienists/assistants/lag techs/healthcare professionals get the job done. It also takes many, many, lay volunteers to pull off each year's event.

What Do They Provide at the Annual Free Dental Clinic in Colorado?

The two-day clinic provides many services, including cleanings, filling, root canals, ceramic crowns, extractions, and even dentures. I can't imagine, not only the relief from pain that these volunteers are providing but also the re-establishing of self esteem that can vanish when your teeth are in need of attention.

As someone who himself has had a lot of dental work done, I can empathize with those needing the free care. When I was young, our single mom didn't have the funds to get the work that was needed done; a clinic like this, back then, would have been unbelievably welcomed.

The 2026 clinic is set to take place in Cripple Creek, September 25th and 26th.
