Longtime Vintage Shop in Colorado Becomes New Apothecary
Not many in Colorado even know what an apothecary is, but with the state being more and more health conscious a new spot is not too surprising.
When a longtime vintage shop closed down in Downtown Loveland, folks wondered what kind of business would be taking over such a great space. Now, we know it's a space for not only herbal products, but much more.

New Herbal Apothecary Opens in Downtown Loveland
Where Dickens Alley, a vintage/collectibles shop, stood for over a dozen years on 4th Street in Downtown Loveland, The Stinging Nettle has opened up shop. It's a business that began in Loveland in 2018, and now has a brick-and-mortar location.
Started by an herbalist and mother of four, a woman who struggled to find products to help with dry skin and allergies, so she began creating her own.

Five years later, that initiative has grown into a full-fledged business, of natural skincare and holistic wellness, now with a storefront.
Her 15 years of experience in healthcare and being an herbalist is now available to more people who'll find her at 238 4th Street in Loveland.
What is This Apothecary in Downtown Loveland, Colorado?
Fans of the hit TV show "Schitt's Creek" know of the Rose Apothecary that David ran, but that was more of a "general store" than it was an apothecary. An actual "apothecary" is defined as,
..a person who prepares and sells drugs or compounds for medicinal purposes : druggist, pharmacist.
The Stinging Nettle is an herbal apothecary and integrated wellness clinic, according to their Facebook page.
Not only will they be offering plant medicine, all natural skincare and wellness products, but there will also be clinics and other practitioners inside the shop.
