You May Have Seen These Northern Colorado Restaurants On TV
There are two things I love more than anything. Food and television. And my family...there are three things I love.
Northern Colorado is known for having some pretty amazing and unique resturaunts. Maybe you've had a meal at one of these joints. So let's take a look at local restaurants that have made it to the small screen.
Johnson's Corner
Let's forget that Johnson's Corner is now known as The Black Bear Diner, because at one time it was just Johnson's Corner. Known for their giant cinnamon rolls and comfort food of all types, Johnson's Corner was a staple in Northern Colorado.
It was so well known that it was actually featured on the Food Network show Food Paradise.
Bruce's Bar
I've talked about this place so many times I should be on their payroll. But you just can't beat Bruce's Bar. Known for their interesting menu, including their world-famous Rocky Mountain Oysters.
The vibe is so unique that the folks from the television show Bizarre Foods America have been there.
Pizza Casbah
Literally my favorite pizza restaurant in Fort Collins has to be Pizza Casbah next to the CSU campus. Authentic New York-style thin slices are their specialty. This place is known far and wide as a tourist attraction because there's nothing else like it around.
That's why I was shocked when I learned that PC was featured on two of my favorite shows, Outrageous Foods and The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Looks like I need to look up the episodes.
The food scene here in Northern Colorado is top-notch, and I love seeing these small businesses on the small screen. So get out there and check out these one-of-a-kind restaurants.
