Georgia Boys BBQ Closes Greeley Restaurant After Five Years
One of the greatest joys in life is sitting down to a good plate of barbecue. While many of us might happen to have a smoker in our backyard, there is something about getting a chunk of smoked-to-perfection meat from a pitmaster who really knows their way around the grill.
Colorado isn't one of those states that is highly regarded for its barbecue, but there are some places that know exactly what they are doing when it comes to smoking meat.
Georgia Boys BBQ Closes Greeley Restaurant
Sadly, one of those places in Northern Colorado has decided to close up shop. On Monday, August 31, one popular barbecue restaurant informed its patrons and barbecue fanatics they severed the last plate of smoked meat the day before.

Georgia Boys BBQ in Greeley announced on Monday that it has ceased operations at 2473 West 28th Street as of Sunday, August 30. Georgia Boys BBQ said they were incredibly grateful for the support the Greeley community has shown Georgia Boys since opening in 2021.
To every guest who walked through our doors, every regular who became a familiar face, and every team member who helped make this restaurant what it was: thank you.
Longmont and Frederick Georgia Boys BBQ Locations Remain Open
The good news for Georgia Boys BBQ fans is that the Longmont and Frederick restaurants are still serving up tasty barbecue. You might have to drive a little farther, but it will certainly be worth it.

Georgia Boys BBQ also said that a new, smaller-footprint location will be opening in the Spring of 2027 in downtown Loveland. More information on the closure of the Greeley location of Georgia Boys BBQ can be seen on Facebook.
