Confusion Over Doug's Diner Locations and Legal Trouble

On Wednesday August 20th, we called both the Fort Collins and Greeley locations to confirm the information that had been shared by some staff members on Facebook.

Workers who spoke with us confirmed that the diners were still open at that specific time.

One staff member even said that the Facebook page was hacked.

We will make sure to provide you with the most accurate and up to date information that we can regarding this situation.

According to a report from BizWest, owners of multiple Doug's Diner locations filed a lawsuit against the Fort Collins and Greeley locations over the trademark.

Part of this dispute is over naming rights.

After taking a quick look at the Doug's Diner website, we found something very interesting. The top of their landing page includes pictures and links to seven of the different Doug's Diner locations. The Greeley and Fort Collins locations are not included.

However, when you scroll down to see a full list of the locations written out all nine of these diners are included.

This is an ongoing story and we will keep you updated as more information comes out regarding this case.
