A Shocking Percentage of Flights Are Delayed At Denver International Airport

Not always. Whenever I leave Colorado to vacation or visit friends and family I am typically relaxed compared to other airports. Whenever I fly, I have a it is what it is mentality and that has saved me a lot of time and stress.
I have had a ton of flight delays. The delays are for understandable reasons, though. It is typically around the holidays when there are harsh weather conditions.
One year during the holidays I had a flight delayed three times and I did not return to Colorado until 3:00 a.m. I was supposed to arrive at 5 p.m. the previous night.
Denver International Airport Deemed Unreliable
SOAX compiled flight data and analytics from the Bureau of Transportation and created a list of the nation's least reliable airports. They ranked the airports based on their highest percentages of delayed flights.

They found that the Denver International Airport is one of the least reliable in the country. A whopping 24.8% of flights are delayed on average. That is the eighth-highest percentage in the country.
24.8% personally feels high to me. However, maybe I am lucky with my travels.
One Colorado Airport Is Even Worse
On the top ten rankings, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport was ranked higher than Denver International Airport. Which means they are even less reliable.
The Aspen/Pitkin County Airport has a 27.5% delay rate and was ranked the third least reliable airport in the country.
