The NFL preseason is here and it is an exciting time to be a football fan in Colorado. We are incredibly excited to see what is to come for the Denver Broncos first-round pick Bo Nix.

We are also incredibly excited to see what the future holds for Fort Collins native Brady Russell.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Brady Russell is putting on one heck of a show in preseason. This is his second NFL season.

Russell was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles last season and was signed to the Seahawks practice squad in September 2023.

Brady Russell played for the Colorado Buffaloes and graduated from Fossil Ridge in Fort Collins, where he was named most valuable player in both his junior and senior seasons.

Brady Russell: From Fort Collins to NFL

Brady Russell is currently playing during preseason fighting for a spot on the Seattle Seahawks roster and it is easy to root for him. He has been all over the Seahawks social media and 12s, the name of the Seahawks fanbase, is falling in love with him.

He scored the first points of the season. Here he is again making an incredible catch against the Chargers.

In a recent interview, Brady Russell says that the most important thing about his career is growth. He made a name for himself on special teams last season and he says that his goal for this season is to be integrated more on offense.
