There are different ways to pull off scams, but they all have the same goal, which is to get your money or to get something from you in an illegal way. Whether it's phone scams, online, or in person, you are never off limits to being a target of a scam. Sometimes you can be scammed without knowing it and without even participating. Amazon is one of the most successful companies in the world, but there are certain people who will try to scam you in Colorado that work for them. There is a scam happening from Amazon in the Centennial State that you need to be aware of and to keep an eye out for if you order from them.

Many people enjoy using Amazon on a daily basis. You can buy nearly anything you want from the website, have it delivered to your door, and never have to leave the house. The company has changed the shopping game, and mostly there is positive feedback when ordering from the company. Sadly, like any huge company, there are some bad apples that take advantage of working for the company and scam some of the customers. For the record, Amazon does not condone this type of behavior. Some drivers are sadly using their position to steal, and the way they are doing it is clever and may have happened to you already.

Mistakes happen from time to time. Odds are high that if you order from Amazon often, a package has gotten lost in the mail, accidentally delivered to the wrong place, or never arrived for several reasons. These things happen when ordering items online, but sometimes, it isn't a mistake. Many of us are aware that porch pirates are a thing, and they will go door to door, stealing items from front porches, but what if I told you sometimes the pirate is the person who delivered the item? Recently, I had a few items delivered, and the Amazon driver took pictures of the items where they left them, but sadly they weren't there when I went to receive them. After looking at security camera footage, it was discovered that the driver took the picture of the items, then removed them from the area, and put them back in their car. I never had a chance to get them, and perhaps the driver hoped I would assume someone else stole them or that they were misplaced.
