Huge Abandoned Home in Rural Colorado
The explorer that went to this huge abandoned house didn’t reveal its location, but based on some clues that you’ll see below, the house is most likely located in Southeastern Colorado along a frontage road of Colorado Interstate 25, in Huerfano County.
For reference, the largest town in Huerfano County is Walsenburg, and just north of Huerfano County, you’ll find Pueblo County.
The house we’re about to check out is absolutely massive. It has a large garage, several rooms including a kitchen, living room, and multiple bedrooms, as well as a basement and one very large room with views for days.
In addition, it also appears that the home was abandoned quite some time ago based on the wallpaper, shag carpeting, and the overall decay of the property.
Another interesting thing to point out is that if you were cruising down the I-25 frontage road you’d most likely never even notice the house, as it’s set a good ways back and is surrounded by trees.
Based on its sheer size, it’s easy to assume that numerous people once lived in the home, but that was likely quite some time ago.
