GWAR Announce 2013 North American Tour with Whitechapel, Iron Reagan + A Band of Orcs
Evil alien overlords GWAR have just announced dates for a North American killing spree. The legendary metal mongers will take Whitechapel, Iron Reagan and A Band of Orcs with them.
GWAR are already performing across North America for a handful of dates in August along with another few shows where GWAR will be co-headlining with Hatebreed. However, nothing will compare with the sheer volume of terror-ific gigs lined up for GWAR's 'Madness at the Core of Time' tour; beginning Oct. 2 in Columbus, Ohio and ending Nov. 11 in Washington D.C.
"Our loyal slaves have been laboring ceaselessly to create the ultimate GWAR show, and for this they have received nothing but abuse and torment," comments GWAR front-thing Oderus Urungus. "I know our legions of loyal fans will be delighted to experience a whole new cast of ridiculous characters, all of whom shall meet exceedingly messy ends to the soundtrack of slaughter that our new album shall provide. Get ready world…GWAR is coming!"
"We're extremely excited to announce that we will be direct supporting the almighty GWAR this fall," adds Whitechapel guitarist Alex Wade. "The tour will be hitting some spots we haven't been in a while and we're looking forward to having a blast on tour with them so come out and get GWAR'ed with us!"
GWAR are set to release their 13th studio album, 'Battle Maximus,' on Sept. 17 via Metal Blade Records.
