The Grand Junction Police Department and the Fruita Police Department have received several reports from Western Colorado residents involving a suspicious salesperson in the area.

Does this imply the salesperson is a fraud and is attempting to scam residents? Not necessarily.

According to the Mesa Country Sheriff's Office Facebook page, he is a valid salesperson and the products he's attempting to sell are valid.

Complaints about this individual revolve around his behavior. He has been described as "pushy," "aggressive," and in some cases, flat out rude.

Okay, so this guy won't win "Employee of the Month."

When it's all said and done, though, is he doing anything illegal? Apparently not.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office would like to remind you, as a general rule, to avoid answering your door to anyone you don't know. If you should answer your door, there is no need to let the person inside.
