Grand Junction Police Make Arrest in Monday Night Shooting

The Grand Junction Police Department has arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a Monday night shooting in the area of 28 1/2 Road and Hall Avenue.

The suspect, Howard Ray Walker III (birth date: Dec. 22, 1984), is currently being held on the following charges:

• 1st Degree Assault
• Felony Menacing
• Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender

While the investigation surrounding the events of Monday night is still ongoing, no other suspects are being sought at this time.
