Grand Junction Man Arrested For Doing Donuts on Golf Course
A 22-year-old man from Grand Junction has been arrested for doing donuts on Lincoln Park Golf Course in his truck. You read that right.
Jacob Hunger from Grand Junction was arrested early this morning. (Monday, Feb. 4.) It all started for the Grand Junction Police Department with a call before 5 a.m. about a hit and run on Mountain View Street.
According to KKCO, police stated a truck drove onto private property, damaged a fence and was doing donuts with his truck -- obviously causing damage to the landscaping at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
The donuts weren't enough for Jacob because once the police tried to stop him, he took off. He almost caused another accident but was stopped (eventually) near 10th and Teller.
My first thought it obviously this guy was inebriated or messed up in some way and it's true. According to KKCO, Jacob Hunger is now facing these charges:
- DUI
- Felony eluding
- Reckless driving
- Leaving the scene of an accident
I'm pretty sure doing those donuts on the Lincoln Park Golf Course weren't worth it.
