The Grizzly Creek Fire has also caused Hanging Lake to close. The wildfire is dangerously close to Hanging Lake, which is a Western Colorado treasure. The Grizzly Creek Fire is only two miles away from the Hanging Lake trail, according to the Denver Post.

The Grizzly Creek Fire has burned over 6,200 acres and is currently 0% contained, according to the Denver Post.
