Four Arrested for Robbery at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction
This crime shocks me because this is a park that my wife and I visit often with our dogs because the dog park at Canyon View Park is awesome. But it's alarming to find out that four people were arrested this past Thursday (October 29th) at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction for aggravated robbery according to KKCO.
The call to authorities came in shortly before 7 a.m. last Thursday morning from a victim in the park who had their wallet stolen. Things got a lot more dangerous quickly as the robbery suspects jumped in a vehicle to get away the victim got in a vehicle and the chase was on.
During the chase one of the suspects fired a shot at the victim's vehicle, luckily no one was injured during this very serious incident.
Officers surrounded the area quickly and made contact with the suspect's car and all four occupants in the vehicle were taken into custody and are facing serious charges. Here are the four suspects and the pending charges after the robbery in the Grand Junction Park:
