If you're like me, you've probably heard Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" entirely too many times, and Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas" isn't much better. However, there are numerous great albums by hard rockers that can get you into the Christmas spirit just as easily.

Twisted Sister - A Twisted Christmas

Dee Snider once noticed that his Twisted Sister hit "We're Not Gonna Take It" sounds strikingly similar to the holiday classic "O Come All Ye Faithful." Because of this, he decided to get the band together and record an entire album of Christmas favorites, including the aforementioned song complete with a little taste of its Twisted Sister counterpart.

Scott Weiland - The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The late Stone Temple Pilots frontman may have been one of the last artists you'd expect to put out a Christmas album, but lo and behold he did it! Hearing the iconic voice behind "Plush" and "Interstate Love Song" sing Christmas classics is weird at first, but it definitely grows on you.

Halford III - Winter Songs

Rob Halford of Judas Priest has put out a few solo albums, but he definitely caught Priest fans off guard when he released his Christmas album "Winter Songs." The Metal God not only lends his iconic voice to Christmas classics, but several of them are even more traditional Christian holiday songs.

Various - Punk Rock Christmas

Now here's a fun one. I've always loved punk covers, and not only is this what we have here, but punk rock staples have lent their voices to Christmas classics on this bouncy, festive compilation.

Various - We Wish You a Metal Xmas

Here's another fun one. A bunch of metal guys all got together to jam Christmas songs, including the stand-out track "Run, Rudolph Run" featuring Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame.
