Famous Actor Makes Plea to Mayor Hancock on Denver Pit Bull Ban
It's not just Colorado who's taken note of Denver's controversial pit bull ban.
In recent news, the Denver City Council voted to repeal the pit bull ban, instead enacting a licensing system for owner of the dogs. However, one week later, Mayor Hancock used his veto to strike down the bill, claiming that making pit bulls legal to own would endanger children in the Denver community. Now, Hollywood is commenting on the controversy.
Justin Theroux, famous for his roles in The Girl on the Train, The Spy Who Dumped Me, and The Leftovers spoke out about Denver's ban on Instagram, citing his experience with his own rescue pittie, Kuma.
Theroux ended his post by vowing to come to Colorado to "defy your dumb ban" and then asked for smarter legislation.
What do you think about Theroux's comments?
