Colorado voters are apparently anxious to let their voices be heard.

According to the Denver Channel, in the first few days of voting in Colorado, more than 300,000 ballots have been cast. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold says that number is about 24 times higher than at the same point in the 2016 election.

Of ballots turned in so far, 139,000 were from Democrats, 57,000 from Republicans, and the rest coming from unaffiliated voters. There are 3.6 million active registered voters in the state.

Anyone voting by mail should have their ballot in the mail by October 26 -- or get them into a drop box by 7:00pm on November 3. In-person voting starts on Monday and will be available through election day.
