Get ready to catch the spirit of the holidays in beautiful Downtown Grand Junction.

On Saturday, November 20, the Downtown Tree Lighting (presented by Enstrom Candies) will take place with Santa Claus himself doing the honors of lighting not only the tree at 4th and Main but also all the lights on Main Street simultaneously! He may even be visiting with some very lucky children to ask what they want for Christmas before returning to his workshop in the North Pole.

Then, on Saturday, December 4, it's the 39th annual Parade of Lights (presented by Bank of Colorado), which will see thousands line Main Street as more than 100 lighted entries enchant viewers. This year's theme is Candyland Christmas, so be sure to bring your sweet tooth and show off your life-size gingerbread skills!

And don't forget about the 12 Days of Christmas, featuring gift drop boxes with fabulous prizes from featured restaurants and stores located in Downtown Grand Junction, which is the premier destination to shop, eat, and play this holiday season with so many great activities the whole family can enjoy.

Speaking of shopping, there's no better day to check everyone off on your Christmas list than Small Business Saturday (Saturday, November 27). When you spend $50 or more on a single purchase at a downtown shop or restaurant and submit your receipt online, you'll be entered to win a prize package that includes a hotel stay, dinner, and spa treatment as a thank you for shopping local!
