Donald Driver could teach Ray Lewis, or any NFL player, something about retiring with humility.

Driver, 37, the longtime Green Bay Packers wide receiver who holds the franchise's all-time records in receptions (743) and yards (10,137), announced that he is retiring after 14 seasons with the team. Driver made the announcement on ESPN Radio's 'Mike and Mike in the Morning' on Thursday. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Driver had seven 1,000-yard seasons. He finished his career with 61 touchdown receptions.

Driver, who played more games (205) with the team than any other player other than Brett Favre, said that his retirement ceremony would be open to fans. The Packers have scheduled a news conference for Lambeau Field on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

A fan favorite in Green Bay, Driver's back story is a gritty tale of overcoming an underprivileged childhood and transforming himself into a community advocate and role model. Partnering with dancer Peta Murgatroyd, Driver won the 14th season of the ABC reality TV competition 'Dancing with the Stars' in May of 2012.

Expect tears, tributes and a few hundred cold Cheeseheads to see Driver off, but there probably won't be any questions about deer antler extract, accessory to murder charges or Psalms.
