UPDATE: Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Beth Chapman Passes Away
UPDATE: JUNE 26, 2019 1:00 PM: Multiple sources report Beth Chapman has passed away at the age of 51.
Beth Chapman, wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter, and co-star on the couple's fugitive-hunting reality show filmed in Colorado, is reportedly in a medically-induced coma.
According to CBS News, Duane 'Dog' Chapman shared the news that his wife, Beth, has been admitted to a hospital in Honolulu.
'Chapman was hospitalized in April because of fluid accumulation in her lungs and underwent a procedure to relieve pressure,' CBS reports. Chapman has also battled throat cancer since 2017.
Just weeks ago, on June 3, Dog addressed Beth's health concerns as he announced a new show on WGN, Dog's Most Wanted, which will air in 2020. The Chapmans filmed several seasons of Dog the Bounty Hunter in the Colorado Springs and Denver area, but it hasn't been revealed where the family is shooting their upcoming show.
The network shared on Twitter yesterday, '
#WGNAmerica and @DogWgna are sending our thoughts and prayers to @MrsdogC. We’ve come to know Beth as a strong, powerful fighter and we have hope that she will recover soon to rejoin her beloved family.'
