Colorado’s Unemployment Drops With 6,200 New Jobs
Things are looking up in Colorado.
Thanks to a recent Colorado Department of Labor and Environment survey, we can have hope for our unemployment rates in Colorado, which dropped 3.2% since June.
According to 9News, 6,200 "non-farm payroll jobs were added", making our new rate only 7.4%. Individuals employed is now at 2,851,300, with the employment-to-population "well below February's prepandemic level of 67.7%".
In July, the highest rates of unemployment were in Gilpin, Summit, and Huerfano.
