What Exactly Goes On Inside the Tallest Building in Colorado?
Colorado has many claims to fame that involve "high" things. Other than the activities that take place on 4/20 each year, the Centennial State is home to the highest bridge in the country, the highest vehicular tunnel in the nation, and by most accounts, the second-tallest statue of Jesus in the world.

Another one of these high things is a place called Republic Plaza, which is the tallest building in the state.
What Goes On in the Tallest Building in Colorado?
It should come as no surprise to know that the tallest building in Colorado is located right in the heart of downtown Denver and you can find Republic Plaza at 370 17th Street.
Originally erected in 1984, the 717-foot tower consists of 56 floors, 1.85 million square feet in area, and, as one can easily assume, contains a variety of tenants.

One type of establishment that is prominent in Republic Plaza is food service. Some of the restaurants inside of Republic Plaza include Troy Guard’s Bubu, Starbucks, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Noodles & Company, Lazo Empanadas, and The Delectable Egg.
There is also a fitness center, a three-story lobby, plenty of office space, collaborative workplaces, a variety of retail shops, service businesses, and more.
In addition, Republic Plaza hosts the "Mile High Stair Climb," an annual event that takes place every January and benefits the Colorado chapter of the American Heart Association.
