Of course, speed limits vary depending on where you are in Colorado, but the fastest legal speed limit in the state is 75 miles per hour.

This maximum speed limit is shared by multiple states that border Colorado, including New Mexico, Kansas, Arizona, and Nebraska. However, some of the states that share a border with the Centennial State allow you to drive a little faster.

Where Can You Drive Faster than You Can in Colorado?

As far as neighboring states go, you can drive faster in places like Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Utah, all of which contain stretches of road where the speed limit is as fast as 80 miles per hour.

These 80mph speed limit signs can also be found in states like Nevada, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and certain counties in Texas.

There are also places in the United States that allow drivers to legally drive up to 85 miles per hour, all of which are found in three distinct counties in Texas.
