
Denver Ranks Higher Than Most U.S. Cities for Singles in New Study
Anyone from Colorado will likely tell you that the Centennial State is a great place to live for a variety of reasons. There’s the unmatched scenery, the legendary music venues, and enough big cities and small towns to cater to any lifestyle.

Now, a new study shows that one of Colorado’s aforementioned big cities is likely set to be one of the best in the nation for singles.
Denver, Colorado, Will Be Great for Singles in 2026
The data comes from a new report released by WalletHub and names Denver, Colorado, as the fifth-best city for singles in 2026.
With an overall score of 61.15, the only cities that rank higher for singles in 2026 are Seattle, which scored a 62.32, Tampa, which scored a 62.73, Las Vegas, which scored a 63.71, and Atlanta, which was named the best city in the nation for singles in 2026 with a score of 64.15.
Factors that determined these scores include economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities. The most impressive figure here shows Denver as the third-best city in the country when it comes to dating opportunities in 2026.
Where Do Other Colorado Cities Rank for Singles in 2026?
Two of the other largest cities in Colorado also made the list, but scored much lower than Denver when it comes to opportunities for singles.
The state’s second-largest city, Colorado Springs, was named the 36th-best city for singles in the nation in 2026 with a less-than-impressive score of 55.31.
The other city was the Denver suburb of Aurora, which landed at number 71.
