According to the Colorado Department of Health and Environment, a Weld County man is the second Coloradan to die from the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment says that the man was in his 70s, and was a previously identified case.

The first reported death from the novel coronavirus was a woman in her 80s who died from the virus on Friday, March 13 in El Paso County.

Weld County also had another confirmed case of the coronavirus, stating they will see a rise in positive cases over the next few days.
