Nowadays, it's hard to believe that it wasn't too terribly long ago that cannabis was illegal in the state of Colorado. Following legalization, marijuana dispensaries began popping up all over the state and can now be found in nearly every corner of Colorado.

Of course, one of the other things that Colorado is most known for is the plethora of outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and whitewater rafting.

Because of this, it should come as no surprise to learn that there is a dispensary located on the banks of a creek widely known as a rafting route.

Dispensary Exit 243 is located right on the banks of Clear Creek at 2235 East Idaho Springs Road, Idaho Springs, CO 80452.

In addition to being located right off of I-70, the dispensary is also in close proximity to a couple of companies that offer whitewater rafting trips.

Just down the road, you'll find Clear Creek Rafting Co. at 350 Whitewater Rd, Idaho Springs, CO 80452.

However, Pura Vida Rafting is located just across the highway at 2056 East Idaho Springs Road, Idaho Springs, CO 80452.

As we see here, Dispensary Exit 243 is right on the creek, making it an especially visible landmark for rafters in the area.

Both companies offer rafting trips for all levels of experience, some of which take place in the evening, but regardless of which trip you choose your adventure will undoubtedly be uniquely "Colorado."
