These Coloradans Recall their Least Favorite Music in High School

They say that the music you listen to in your teenage years and early twenties will likely remain your favorite music for life. Growing up, we never forget things like the CDs we listened to in our Discmans walking the halls of our high school, cruising around listening to the radio in our first-ever car and seeing the bands we love in concert for the first time.

On the flip side, we also tend to remember the bands and artists we disliked the most during these formative years. Sometimes the band or artist reminded us of a person we weren't so fond of, sometimes the band or artist was just overplayed, and other times the band or artist just wasn't our style.

Curious, I posted a question on Facebook asking Colorado residents what their least favorite bands in high school were and this is what they said.

Coloradans Recall Least Favorite Music in High School

Naturally, when you solicit answers to a question like this, it also becomes apparent as to when those who respond went to high school. For example, it's likely that the respondents who disliked bands like A Flock of Seagulls and Europe during high school likely attended in the 1980s.

Respondents who named bands like Nirvana and Phish likely went to high school in the 1990s, those who named bands like Cake and Dave Matthews Band likely attended in the 2000s, and so on.
