Fort Lupton Colorado's Heritage Fair is a Trip Back in Time
This past Saturday, May 4, 2024, marked the 18th annual Heritage Fair to be held in the historic town of Fort Lupton, Colorado.
In case you're not familiar, Fort Lupton is located on the Front Range northeast of Denver near Brighton, Colorado:
In addition to the annual Revolutionary War reenactment, the Heritage Fair shares glimpses into Colorado's past beginning with the Vikings' arrival to the continent of North America.
While these days, Fort Lupton is primarily known as the small town along Highway 85, the town gets its name from an actual fort of the same name that served as a setting for trading, as well as a schoolhouse, a trapper's cabin, and various other purposes over the years, most of which were represented by period actors during the fair.
Fort Lupton's Heritage Fair serves as a totally interactive and fun journey into the past that explores numerous periods of Colorado's rich history.
