In case you're not familiar, the Consumer Information Catalog was a free publication that households could receive by mail via a simple request, and the request was sent to an address in Pueblo, Colorado.
The catalog was around for a number of years, and was even digitized as recently as the Clinton administration, but it appears to have become a thing of the past.
Luckily, some of the documentation regarding the catalog and the ads used to promote it have been saved, including a hilariously campy and dated commercial from the 1970s:

While the Consumer Information Catalog was based in Pueblo, Colorado, it was available nationwide. One Redditor noted the following after a conversation with his wife regarding the catalog and its connection to Pueblo:
I just asked the wife if she remembered those commercials. As a child I always thought of Pueblo Colorado as this mythical place of never ending knowledge.

In addition to the topics covered in the retro commercial, the catalog offered information on things like purchasing used Federal property, agricultural property, residential, and business properties, as well as info about used car auctions and government contact information or "blue pages."
The Consumer Information Catalog commercials that aired during The Brady Bunch, as well as the physical catalog itself, are things of the past, but the memories and anecdotes that led some to believe that Pueblo was a mecca of information remain priceless.
