What Do Online Searches From China Say About Colorado?
In the age of information, the current period of time in which most people in the world have access to a computer, it has become easier than ever to recognize what others, often from completely different backgrounds, think of you.

One of the most useful ways to understand how you are perceived by others is by analyzing the most prevalent search engine entries, and new data has been released that is said to show the most popular search entries from a Chinese search engine when it comes to each of the 50 states.
What Do Chinese Search Entries Say About Colorado?
The search engine is called Baidu, and appears to be the Chinese equivalent of Google.
According to the data, the most popular question asked on the Chinese search engine when it comes to Colorado involves the state’s real estate market, specifically why it is so expensive to live in the Centennial State.
Colorado is not the only state with the most popular search term being involved with money, as the data shows that the Chinese are also interested in why New Jersey has such high property taxes, why Mississippi is so poor, and, interestingly, why Oregon has “no taxes.”
What Do Chinese Search Entries Reveal About Colorado's Neighboring States?
According to the data, people who use the Chinese search engine are also interested in why Utah is “so white,” why Kansas doesn’t contain Kansas City, and, interestingly, why Wyoming has “so many hurricanes.”
While some of these entries are comical, if true, the fact that the other side of the world is wondering why it’s so expensive to live in Colorado may be something that needs to be addressed.
