Colorado Bill Could Pay College Athletes
Colorado is considering a bill that would allow college student-athletes to be paid for names and images according to KDVR.
The bill would make it possible for college athletes to be compensated through commercial or endorsement contracts without the surrender of scholarships.
If the considered bill is passed, it would become law in August 2021.
California passed a similar law in September 2019 and more than 20 other states are considering adding similar legislation.
