Last night in Aurora five people, 2 women and 3 men, were injured during a shooting. Three of those injured were juveniles over 16-years-old.

An Aurora Police press release states: "On January 11, 2020, Aurora Police Public Safety Communications Division received a 911 call around 10:55 P.M. advising that someone had been shot. Officers were immediately dispatched to 17100 block of East Adriatic Place and arrived on scene within 90 seconds."

All 5 wounded people are listed in serious condition, but expected to survive, according to police.

At this point there have been no arrests.

Police say the suspect was a black male who had been wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, but "there could possibly be additional suspects".

There will be increasing police patrols in the area of the shooting, and officers from the District 3 Police Area Representative Unit (PAR) will patrol the neighborhood during the day.
