According to KKTV, the Denver Metro area, including Boulder, has been asked to limit driving while major wildfires continue to burn nearby

'The state health department issued the warning Tuesday for the Denver and Boulder metro areas because of three fires burning in the area, including the Cameron Peak Fire,' KKTV reported.

Both Cameron Peak Fire and the Cal-Wood Fire are causing visibly hazy skies over the Front Range region, but the Cameron Peak Fire is now burning close to the Fort Collins and Loveland area.

Right now, Colorado Department of Health and Environment says that Wednesday is an 'Action Day for Fine Particulates...for the Colorado Front Range until at least 4 p.m.,' meaning it is in the 'Unhealthy or Unhealthy-for-Sensitive-Groups categories.'

This includes Fort Collins to Longmont, and those with health conditions should limit time outdoors, so maybe consider carpooling (with masks), rather than hoppin' on your bike today.
