Over the last ten years, no Division II baseball team in the nation has more wins than the CMU Mavericks.

From 2010-2019, CMU baseball has a record of 440 wins and 143 losses. They are also, in that timeframe, one of only two teams to make the NCAA Division II tournament all ten years and in two of those years, the Mavs finished as national runners-up, falling just short of two National Championships.

Last season, CMU posted 53 wins, the most ever for the program and Coach Chris Hanks had this to say about the program

"I am so proud of our program's success over the last decade," "We have had some incredible student-athletes compete for us who have represented our program and university with class and incredible commitment to our culture and each other. Our coaching staff has remained unchanged during this time and that continuity has cultivated our high standards and maintained our expectations."

During the time Hanks has coached the team, they have a record of 884-356 and have won 15 RMAC titles and 17 regional tournaments. making him the winningest coach in school history.

This season, the Mavs begin ranked second in the nation and will begin their season in Fort Lauderdale, Florida against 16th ranked Nova Southeastern.

Way to go MAVS and Chris Hanks!
