Buzzcocks Singer Pete Shelley Dead at 63
Pete Shelley, lead singer for iconic punk band The Buzzcocks, has died at age 63. Buzzcocks management informed BBC of Shelley’s death earlier today (Dec. 6). The musician died in Estonia, where he was living.
Details are scarce on Shelley’s passing, but a heart attack is suspected as the official cause of death. The Buzzcocks announced the sad news via Twitter:

Pete's music has inspired generations of musicians over a career that spanned five decades and with his band and as a solo artist, he was held in the highest regard by the music industry and by his fans around the world.
