In its infancy, Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre looked a lot different than it does today. The venue began as a 10-acre art installation with no permanent seats, no walls, and even less parking than you're used to.

Big concerts began taking place at the amphitheater around 1988 but before that could happen, a lot of work was done to get it ready to go.

Today, Fiddler's Green has 7,000 fixed seats, 11,000 grass "seats," a large catering operation, concessions, special green rooms and dressing rooms for artists, production offices, employee offices, and everything else you'd come to expect a venue of its size to require.
