We’ve got some exciting news to share with Breaking Benjamin’s legion of fans. The band has officially completed its sixth studio album, as relayed by Ben Burnley himself.

Breaking Benjamin are currently touring Europe for just the second time in their career. The band’s lack of stage time overseas is due to Burnley’s fear of flying, which led to the frontman and drummer Shaun Foist taking a nine-day sea voyage from the U.S. to the U.K. in 2016.

The guys recently played a set at the 2017 Reading Festival, where they revealed that their sixth album is finished during an interview with Mike James Rock Show. “The album is done, it’s finished,” Burnley says. “It just gets passed to the label and they’ll put it out whenever. On our end, we’re done.”

Breaking Benjamin’s sixth full-length will be their first since 2015’s Dark Before Dawn, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart — the first time Breaking Benjamin achieved that position. The album has since gone gold in the U.S., selling over 500,000 copies nationwide.

The band revealed they’ve got some tours lined up as well, so keep your eyes open for when that news breaks. Stay tuned to Loudwire for all your Breaking Benjamin updates!
