Barstool Opened Sportsbook in Black Hawk Today

Sports betting in Colorado just got even easier as the massive hotel and casino Ameristar in Black Hawk just this morning opened the doors to their brand new sportsbook with the recognizable name of Barstool. We got the details this morning when released on Westword, and found out this is the very first sportsbook to open with the Barstool brand name.

If you aren't familiar with Barstool they create a ton of content around sports, online sports, and pop culture. The brand is very popular, with its core demographic being younger males. Which is why the collaboration made so much sense.

The typical casino visitor is older but with the introduction of the Barstool sportsbook, this could bring in lots of younger players and introducing them to casino games while they enjoy their typical sports betting.

The new sportsbook will have seating for 196 people but during these unusual pandemic times, only 75 or so people will be allowed in the sportsbook at one time.

There will be a 24-foot tall digital screen and 800 inch TVs. Also in the new sportsbook area, there will be a bar, three blackjack, and roulette tables.

Owners and management are eager to have sports fans check out their new facility especially as the Barstool Sportsbook app isn't available in Colorado yet.
