Fans recently got a teaser taste of Asking Alexandria's cover of Slipknot's "Duality" that the band did for Metal Hammer's 30th anniversary compilation, Decades of Destruction. You can now hear the track in full in the player above. [Editor's Note: For some browsers, you may have to change the quality number on the YouTube player for it to stream properly.]

As you can hear, Asking Alexandria stay true to the heaviness of the original with pulsing guitars and hard hitting percussion, while vocalist Denis Stoff alternates between whispery, megaphoned vocals and full-voiced belting.

As stated, the Asking Alexandria cover is part of a special compilation included with the 30th Anniversary issue of Metal Hammer, which is currently on stands now. In addition to to Asking Alexandria's cover, you'll find Korn taking on Faith No More's "We Care a Lot," Sabaton covering Manowar's "Kingdom Come," Wilson doing Rage Against the Machine's "Sleep Now in the Fire" and New Years Day doing their best Marilyn Manson on a cover of "mOBSCENE" among other tracks.

In other Asking Alexandria news, the band will be headlining a fall North American tour celebrating another anniversary, that of their label Sumerian Records. The group has also just announced their first major tour of 2017, playing the U.K. and Europe with shows booked between February and April. See all of their scheduled dates here.
