Colin Kaepernick just won the NFL lottery with a 6-year $126 million contract extension with $61 million guarantee. That’s right the San Francisco 49ers have made Kaepernick one of the ten highest paid QB’s in the league and gave him the most guaranteed money in NFL history.

This is what all that guaranteed money means, if Yoda came out of the dark and cut Kaepernick off at the knees tonight the 49ers would still owe him the $61 million. So if he plays his way into the Hall of Fame or is a bust he will get the money.
