In case you hadn't heard the latest news, the world will end November 9, so we should be figuring out how to spend our last days on Earth.

November 9, of course, is the day after the presidential election when we all expect to wake up with the knowledge of who is going to be the next president of the United States. But, if you're listening to the buzz around the water cooler  you know that supporters of both major candidates believe the world as we know it will end if the other party's candidate is elected.

That means since there's a 99.9% chance that either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will win the election, we are all doomed on November 9.

What will you do with your final days on earth between now and then?

For starters, I plan to eat some pumpkin pie, coconut cream pie, some pepperoni pizza - with extra cheese, powdered sugar donuts, Doritos, waffles slathered in butter with bacon on the side, a vanilla shake, deep fried shrimp and calamari, a bag of Oreos and some homemade sugar cookies, and for dessert some German chocolate cake.

Apparently I'm going to be  very busy eating, but, in between meals I think will play some rounds of golf - first at Redlands Mesa, then I'll head to Delta and do Devil's Thumb, over to Fruita to do a couple of rounds at Adobe Creek, and wrap things up, perhaps, on election day at Tiara Rado Golf Course in Grand Junction.

But, what if everyone is wrong? What if we wake up on November 9 and the world hasn't ended?? I guess we will just have to carry on business as usual, go to our jobs, feed our families, and continue to talk smack about the Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots.
