I will never forget where I was and what I was doing on September 11, 2001. The images, the emotions, the day is unforgettable. Where were you on 9/11?

On September 11, 2001, I was in class in the fourth grade. I remember feeling confusion,  panic, and fright throughout my elementary school. I remember seeing the look on my teacher's face when she heard the news, her husband was a pilot. Her face dropped and she immediately started making calls to make sure he was okay -- he was. The room was very dark.

I got home from school that day and watched the plane crash over, and over, and over again. I couldn't stop watching the news. I don't know if I fully understood what was going on at that age.

This day changed so many things. It brought a flood of fear, sadness and rage. I will never, ever, forget this day. My heart goes out to the victims of this tragedy and everyone that came together to help and get through it. Since 9/11 is forever embedded into my memory, I want to know, where were you and what were you doing on September 11, 2001?
