Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery? Tom Tudor, who served as a sentinel at tomb, will be coming to the Mesa Country Central Library in Grand Junction for a free public presentation.

Tudor served as a sentinel and commander of the relief at the tomb from February 1969 until Memorial Day 1970. He now serves as vice president and treasurer of 'The Society for the Honor Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier."

On Monday, November 3, Tom Tudor will present "Arlington National Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" at 6:30 at the Mesa Country Central Library at Fifth and Grand.

For his presentation, Tudor will share the history of Arlington National Cemetery and the Tomb, as well as his personal accounts of serving as a guard.

This is a free event, but please keep in mind, seating is limited.
