No nonsense rock. That's the best way to describe this midwest band who adopted the name of their hometown as their own. Wayland...Michigan.

As you may have heard me say, this band is one of Jesse James Dupree's projects. That guy in a marketing genius and would not lend his expertise and influence if he didn't believe completely in this band. He is a man of integrity and Wayland understands the pressure that comes with it. The show is Tuesday, April 4th at The Mesa Theater.

The band released their first album "Wayland" in 2010. They have since released a four-song EP, "Welcome To My Head." The title track had a nice run on the Rock Radio charts.

Staying true to their midwest roots, Wayland has built their reputation the hard way, on the road. They routinely average 300 shows a year.

They have shared that stage with some of rock's best bands including Alice in Chains, Volbeat, Halestorm, Rob Zombie, Brett Michaels, Sammy Hagar, Theory of a Deadman, Black Stone Cherry, Seether, Hinder, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Jackyl, Slash, Alice Cooper and many more.

Check out 95 Rock's very own Morning Show "Free Beer & Hotwings" cameo in the Wayland "Get A Little" video.

Since their early days back in 2012, the band has built a grassroots following. Wayland is very true to staying connected with the their fanbase, the "Wayland Warriors", and is active on all Social Media platforms.
