Veterans to Receive Free Admission at Colorado Mesa Games

Colorado Mesa University, in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, will honor veterans this week at a pair of Maverick athletic events.

Veterans will receive free admission to two CMU games this week. Free admission will be available to veterans at Tuesday's RMAC quarterfinal volleyball match between Colorado Mesa and Colorado-Colorado Springs at Brownson Arena, 12th Street and Orchard Avenue in Grand Junction. The volleyball match is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Veterans will also receive free admission to Saturday's football game between the Mavericks and Western State at Stocker Stadium. Saturday's game is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Veterans are asked to bring proof of military service.
