Ukraine Foreign Exchange Student Needs Host Family on Western Slope

Petro is a 15-year-old foreign exchange student from  the Ukraine and is looking for a host family for the coming school year.

CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange)is looking for host families in Montrose, Delta, Olathe, Telluride, Ridgway, Nucla and the North Fork areas, and specifically a family for Petro.

My name is Petro and I am 15 years old. I live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Ukraine. I will show Ukrainian culture and traditions for everyone, who will want to know more about this amazing country. I want to become an international lawyer, so I go to school with linguistic inclination. Family is the most important thing in our lives. I live with my mother, a stepfather, and my little brother. I spend a lot of my free time with my friends or working in the gym. I am communicative and cheerful. I love movies and going to the cinema. I also play sports with my friends, such as table tennis and bowling. After school we play football. Last year I also took up programming. I hope that my best friends for life will be you, my dear American family.

Foreign exchange students live with a host family for 10 months as a part of the family. They have their own spending money and insurance. Host families need to provide three meals a day, a bed, and a place to study.

This is a great opportunity to experience a very different culture as well as share the great American culture with an eager foreign student.
