    Family Guy - Thanksgiving Aired on November 20, 2011

    Things take a twist at the Griffin's Thanksgiving table when the son of the Swansons shows up. The neighbors of the Griffin family are surprised when their son who they thought died appears. He was thought to have died in Iraq and comes up with a story about how a bomb in a turkey put him in a coma. His lie is revealed and he admits he went A.W.O.L. upsetting everyone. His police officer father Joe arrests him for desertion, but he eventually finds sympathy for his son.

    In South Park's season 15 episode 'A History Channel the boys Thanksgiving' watch a History Channel episode of 'Ancient Aliens'. It exposes that aliens were present at the first Thanksgiving. Kyle has a problem with all of this and the boys must find Natalie Portman 'to open her wormhole' to get Captain Standish back to the planet Plymouth. The History Channel also hints that Thanksgiving might be haunted. An idea Kyle also is not happy about.

    Bart runs away from home on Thanksgiving after setting Lisa's centerpiece for the table on fire. Santa's Little Helper joins him after being kicked out of the house as well. Bart donates plasma after a visit gone bad to Mr. Burns' home. After a run-in with a pack of killer dogs at Mr. Burns' mansion. He ends up passing out and is taken to the soup kitchen by some homeless people.

Starvin' Marvin shows up after the boys see the 'free gift watch' for saving an Ethiopian. Principal Victoria soon learns what the boys have done as Chef and Dr. Mephisto tackle South Park's turkey problem. Cartman ends up in Ethiopia as Starvin' Marvin is catered to by Cartman's mom.

    Beavis & Butthead Do Thanksgiving Aired on November 27, 1997

    In their only Thanksgiving special that ran a total of once Beavis and Butt-head join Kurt Loder. Kurt attempts to teach the duo about the meaning of Thanksgiving as they report live from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The original version that aired only once, opposed to the heavily edited versions available now, featured much more. Appearances were made by Adam Sandler, LL Cool J, Jay-Z, R.E.M., Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Tori Amos, and the Beastie Boys. Plus it featured the music videos by Marilyn Manson, Adam Sandler and Fiona Apple. The day after the episode 'Beavis and Butt-head are Dead' aired and was the original series finale.
