It's the first day of fall and we love it. Don't misunderstand. We love summer, too. Loudwire Music Festival was a ton of fun plus rodeos, etc. However, when it comes to seasons, we prefer Fall over all others. Here are our top 5 reasons why.

5. Hairy dudes stop wearing tank tops and are forced to wear pullovers.

Hey there, Sasquatch. We know you were born with whatever hair you've been given. That doesn't mean we want to see it. In summer, we understand you don't feel like wearing a sweatshirt when it's 90. But, now it's officially fall and normally 50 to 60 in the morning. So, we ask that you put that full body covering on and leave the Bigfoot back hair for your wife or girlfriend to enjoy.

4. We can now make fun of people who love Pumpkin Spice lattes.

In the summer, the pumpkin spice latte people tend to keep to themselves. They are restricted to drink regular coffee like the rest of us. So, it's much harder to find them to mock them. Now that it's fall, they come out of the woodwork. Pumpkin spice this and pumpkin spice that. We love giving them a hard time since it - somewhat - makes us feel better about our miserable little lives for some reason.

3. We can wear football and hockey jerseys everywhere

We wear jerseys in the summer, too. But, now that it's fall, the football, and/or hockey jersey is a regular wardrobe choice. Work? Sure. Play? Absolutely. Wedding? Why not? Nothing says we hope your love lasts forever quite like a #7 Elway uniform.

2. We can now buy things and tell our wives it's our Christmas present.

If you buy yourself a Playstation 4 in June, you have some explaining to do to the girlfriend or wife. Buy one in October? Well, that is a potential Christmas present she doesn't have to worry about. Note: you can only use this excuse a limited number of times before the hammer comes down. Until then, enjoy!

1. Colorado kicks the a** of all other states when it's Fall

Tim Gray

We admit we're biased since we also think Colorado is light years better than any other state in the other seasons, too. But, during Fall, our state completely cleans the clock of the other supposed US states when it comes to beauty. Want to spend Fall in Arkansas or Colorado? No contest. And, don't even mention North Dakota. Colorado rules when it comes to Fall.
